Did you know that running out of propane can lead to a host of other bad events? The majority of these mishaps happen to people who monitor their own propane tank levels.
Here at Proulx Oil & Propane, the safety of our customers is our number one concern. To keep you safe we strongly recommend that all of our customers be on an automatic delivery service at all times. Proulx has recently adopted the use of the Enertrac fuel usage tracking program. This system allows us to remotely monitor your propane and/or oil tank level at all times from our office with safe and reliable hardware we attach to your tank. This system eliminates your need to check fuel levels, reduces the chance of a run out and adds to the safety of using propane gas or oil in your home.
The best time for reorder is when your tank is between 15 and 20% full (see picture of the propane tank gauge to the right). This fuel level allows for the most sufficient reserves even in the harshest weather.
